Start-Up Schools brings together people interested in starting or working in new schools. They commissioned Beautiful Bright to create their brand identity and stationery - PPT templates and headed paper
The brand mark was designed to create an identity tied to education and the countless possibilities that it brings. The specific idea here is that education and literacy (across all subjects, not merely limited to language, reading, and writing) create all potential. Hidden in the books we read are all possibilities!
We also wanted to create a very loose connection to traditional schools, which are more commonly associated with a building rather than imagination and learning. This is why the book in our mark is fairly rigid and almost architectural.
Finally, the fan of little dots is a motif repeated in the founding organisation's branding and provides a little continuity.
